- You mentioned no filter required but how does water filter through to give cool air. I’ve purchased this unit and waiting to arrive ?There’s no filter on it, Air or water. Water goes in a tank that slots in. It then turns it into a mist/fog which then comes out of a tube in the middle of the fan housing.
