- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 April 2019Does the job perfectly.Biught this for master bedroom. Installation was easy however i am an electrician.Remote control is large by todays standards. Mainly for the size of batteries however better than manual controls.Noise is quiet for a fan. I mainly use this to cool my balls down on a warm night and it doesnt keep me awake. The fan is a good size for a large bedroom. Noticably drops the temp on a warm stuffy night and circulates the air perfectly without creating a draught. More like a cool breeze.Lighting is dependant on the bulbs you use. Lights are also controlled by the remote which is a win.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 July 2018Just what we wanted.....It looks good, performs excellently and is very quiet. My wife and I are delighted with the quality of this fan and how cool it is keeping our bedroom during this current hot spell. Fitted with led bulbs, it is economical to run. It's still early days, but from first impressions I would highly recommend this product. There are, however, a few safety issues for prospective buyers to consider.1. When fitted, there is a gap of 220mm from the ceiling to the fan blades and the manual specifies that the fan blades should then be at least 2.3 metres above floor level. The rooms in a lot of modern houses are not tall enough to accommodate this.2. Snap connectors make the internal electrics very easy to assemble, but removing existing lighting hardware to install the fan unit is really a job for a qualified electrician.3. The unit is heavy! It's a 2 person job to install and the mounting bracket must be fixed to a solid ceiling beam. The unit comes supplied with 2 fixing screws but I chose to use 5 mm bolts passing right through the beam. Finally, we are very happy now the fan is installed and especially like the convenience and simplicity of the remote control operation. We do have one minor reservation, though. As reported in another review, the sticky pad that fixes the infra-red remote sensor to the ceiling isn't sticking. It's easy to fix, but it's ironic that it's such a low-tech issue that's a problem.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 March 2017Perfect - silent & stylishI wanted a silent fan for our bedroom. Also needed lights that were strong enough to give enough light in winter to see to do my makeup. This ticked both boxes but also looks fantastic. An electrician fitted it but said it was simple. It's attached to a beam in the loft which probably helps it stay silent. I only use setting one normally but all settings silent. And settings 3 would keep you cool in the hottest heatwave. Very happy.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 August 2018Remote isn't great but otherwise a good product. There is a problem with the remote! What they don't show you is that the remote receiver wire poking out of the main chrome body of the fan unit with a blob of a receiver on the end that's stuck with tape to the ceiling! You would expect the receiver diode to be mounted in a hole in the side of the base, rather the wire runs out a hole and you are supposed to stick the receiver to your ceiling with a sticky pad. All very well if you have a flat ceiling, but I don't. Mine is Artexed. Tell me, how am I supposed to stick the sensor to that? I am also not very happy about it just being sticky. Not very permanent at all. Especially since my sticky pad was damaged.I ditched the remote and bought the wall control instead. That required a minor wiring change so that I could use my normal light switch for the light and the wall fan controller just for the fan on/off and speed. The reason for that is there is a connection block on the fan for live, neutral and earth. Both the fan and the light are supplied by the live. The live has two wires in it. You have to remove the red/orange wire, which is the live supply for the light, and using your own terminal block, connect that to your wall light switched-live. So, easy, but what I don't understand is why they didn't just supply you with a four way block so that you didn't need to fiddle about and supply one of your own.The fan is relatively daunting to assemble, although actually pretty easy. You really don't need instructions.Oh, and remember what I said about Artex? You do need a flat ceiling. Or at least you need a ceiling rose. I got an MDF rose and attached it to the ceiling, to provide a flat base for the fan and I am glad I did. In fact none of the fan housing is supposed to touch the ceiling. The base of the ceiling bracket is coated in a rubber type material, so nothing actually touches the ceiling apart from the rubber. Course this just isn't going to work unless your ceiling ( or rose ) is flat. I suspect this is key to making the ceiling fan quiet. There was little electrical noise, just a slight helicopter noise woosh of air. As far as ceiling fans go, this is a very quiet one. After a month the fan started to wobble but a balancing kit I bought on Amazon and five minutes of fiddling fixed that. It's now one of the most stable fans I have seen but that's probably just luck. Balancing is usually easy but it can be really hard - its all down to luck I am afraid. One thing that was slightly annoying is that it's not possible to line up the lights on a particular axis. They point in weird directions. The light base containing all three lights can not be set in any orientation ~ it can not be rotated. You can, however, twist individual lights. I just had to accept they are pointing in odd directions and that's that.I used 4.5W LED bulbs and that makes a very bright ceiling light. I would say that is equivalent of about a 100W conventional bulb.Overall this is one of the best ceiling fans. It sure is expensive but it's worth it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 December 2020Quality feel, quiet and stylishEasy to install, just take your time and enjoy it.Existing wiring in my ceiling was the usual mess, so i decided to use a 4-piece terminal block and add a length of 3 core to push through the ceiling. Glad i did as it gets very crowded inside the fan assembly. One niggle is that the instructions only tell you towards the very end that you will have to insert the remote control receiver into the only space there is...but i had used this space for my 3-core. Would have been a complete nightmare if i had retained the old wiring.Second little niggle is that the finish is especially vulnerable to tiny scratches, particularly the silver fan blades. I took my time and wasn't slapdash but still managed to put small scratches on it. Maybe I'm just a clutz? The spots are fantastic as you can light the dark corners easily, so much better than the usual solitary bright light in the center of the room which doesn't illuminate evenly throughout the room - don't need auxiliary lighting now. Great to choose your colour temperature too, not limited to preinstalled LEDs.The remote looks like it's from a 40 year-old VCR, just a bit clunky looking. All in all, a nice piece of kit
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 June 2018I will be buying 2 more of these. This fan has been a lifesaver!!! Seeing as I am from Florida I know my way around a fan. I was a bit concerned that having only 3 fan blades would prevent this fan from cooling the room effectively. Luckily my concerns have not proven necessary. My husband had never installed a fan before and was not impressed with the instructions but it only took him about an hour to get it put together installed with my help. The lights are fantastic and were the primary reason I ordered this fan. Most fans I found had one dome light and from a lifetime of experience with ceiling fans I knew a dome light would not put out much light at all. This one puts out plenty of light and you can angle them to point where you need them to. I will be buying 2 more of these for the house to help keep us cool in the summer months.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 August 2019Great fan for the price, everything I expected and moreFantastic fan for the money, was very impressed straight out of the box. The fan already had a remote control but I wanted to add this to my ever growing smart home. Using he the old controller I cut and soldered the wiring harness which was very easy. The new controller just fits in the same place as the origanal unit. It was a bit tight but does goes. In use I can use the Sonoff remote or the ewelink app to control this. You can then use google home etc to control it via voice. Highly recommended and would buy again. My only gripe is it is a bit fiddly to build up. I am sure it could be simplified. But it did not take long to do. Installation was very good. But not a lit of room inside for cables.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 May 2020Nice FanQuite fiddly to assemble as the parts are quite small but simple really the instructions are really clear. The remote is rather large - may be it is so you don't loose it! I do really like it, but it is the 4th ceiling fan we have in the house and it is much louder than expected- thank god it is not in a bedroom- although these all seem like negative points - I just wanted others to know what to expect, it is a nice fan otherwise - nice bright lights too. Edit the fan was faulty ... I thought it was too loud ... got a replacement sent out and now it is perfect upgraded to a 5star
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 December 2020Very good quality and works greatA brilliant fan light, works perfectly and looks great in my kitchen. The choice of two colours for the wings is great, I’ve chosen the grey side in my new grey kitchen. The remote works very well. My previous one was controlled by pull strings and I’m a little worried that remote gives up and I’m not able to control the fan anymore but hopefully that’s not going to happen.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 December 2019Small bulbsLove the fan and light combo. Looks elegant and is quiet. A little fiddly to set up, even had to read the instructions, but the push fit connectors made it fairly idiot proof. The light is good, small golf ball sized light bulbs look really nice, I did have longer LED bulbs but they looked stupid! The remote is simple. The blades seem well balanced. I put a nogging in the ceiling to attach the fan, defiantly needs something solid to attach to as too heavy for plaster screws. Interested to see how it runs in 18 months time.

- Our ceiling is at a slight downward angle. Would it still be ok / would this affect performance? The fan has a ball joint and a tube that hang off so a slight angle would not affect the fan, if the angle is too steep then the blade may hit the ceiling but a gentle angle should be fine.
- How do I get to repair a new faulty lightI am assuming it is not just a faulty bulb. I can only suggest an electrician. Ron
