  Really pleased with this

  I ummed and ahhed about buying this for ages because it was more expensive than many of the other chair massagers I had seen but the air compression feature intrigued me. I'm so glad I decided to pay more - this is a great product.It is very well packaged in a stylish box so would make an excellent gift for the lucky recipient. It is quite heavy so that's something to consider if you live alone and need to move it through the house to place on your chair. It comes with the charger lead and instruction manual with clear instructions for use. I'm being picky here but I would've liked some explanation about the different modes although it was great fun trying them all out.Straight out the box you can see that it is a premium product - they haven't scrimped on the materials. It feels and looks "expensive". It has 3 automatic programs that you can leave to do its thing, but you can also adjust the setting of the air compression during the program. I had to put the the air compression on the lowest setting or it would kind of push me forward too much so that the shiatsu balls didn't have the same effect, although that is probably because I am on the larger side - I assume this probably wouldn't be the case for a smaller person.The heat is gentle but enough to warm one's muscles enough for the massger to have the desired effect. The shiatsu massage is pretty firm for a chair massager and is particularly good for thoracic part of one's back up to the shoulder blades. I can totally see why some of the taller reviewers (I'm only 5'3) were less blown away by it - there are no rollers between the bottom of the shoulder blades and neck which is a shame. The neck massager is very firm so this would be particularly good if you experience neck pain. The rolling massage is more gentle but still effective. It might be the chair I am using it on but I don't feel like the lumbar massage is as firm as the thoracic one.I was really impressed with the air compression, particularly underneath one's thighs and this takes the chair to a whole new level.If you are under 5'10 and are considering buying a chair massager, I would definitely recommend paying a little extra and buying this for the air compression alone - it's great!

  Quality could be better for the price.

  Unfortunately I have had to return this. The nodes lock and make a loud thumping noise rather than move fluidly as they should when in auto roller mode. The neck massager node was also making a loud creaking noise. I am a relatively large guy at 6 foot 200 lbs so perhaps this massage chair is just made for much smaller people.The air compression massage combined with the vibration was quite nice since I have a lower back injury but unfortunately the quality just wasn't there in the unit I purchased in all other aspects. I could exchange it to try a new one but I'm not going to take the chance as I think it's just designed this way. I may just have to spend extra on an actual massage chair as none of the pads I have purchased so far have impressed me and this seems like it's the top of the line as far as massage pads go.The unit has much control however even if mine didn't have the node locking issue I would have still been disappointed with it as every time you power it on it starts of in shiatsu mode. So if you just want to use the air compression mixed with vibration only you have to turn it on, turn on the vibration and air compression separately, then turn off the shiatsu afterwards. Meanwhile the shiatsu will aggressively dig into your back until you have selected which settings you wish to use and turn off the shiatsu. This maybe a minor complaint for most but it would have been nice to be able to power on each function individually rather than have shiatsu dig into your back every time you turn it on while you are switching to other settings.The rollers also didn't really target my lower back or upper back so much. It mainly targets my mid back (again, maybe the chair is just designed for much shorter and smaller people).One thing to note is the company also tries to entice you to leave them a good review in exchange for a free massage pillow.

  No good for anyone under 5ft 7 inches

  If you are over say 5ft 7" then this is probably ideal for you and you will be in raptures like other reviewers on here. If you're not and like me a few inches less in height then this chair is not going to suit you so dont buy it. The settings on this are way too high and it is non adjustable and instead of massaging your neck you will get some fairly rough treatment to your skull instead. It's also heavy and will not fit a standard sized office chair and presumably therefore only the large and high backed ones are suitable.As it does not massage the neck nor therefore does it cover and massage the shoulders either, and lats in particular which is where most people carry tension. In fact it doesnt really offer any form of massage to the right muscles because it just doesn't hit them and this is applicable whether used in shiatsu or the more gentle mode option.I tried sitting on THREE cushions to get it to reach my neck and I'm 5ft 5 inches. Even then it was not comfortable or hitting the right places and 3 cushions is really not comfortable at all. Nor is it practical.I cant say much for the seat massage function because I couldn't feel it through 3 cushions. The waist squeeze was not unpleasant but was also fairly ineffective again I believe because of my size.As I said I'm 5 ft 5" and I'm slim and fit. This model was no good for me at all. I have therefore sent it back and will search out another that suits me.

  Furious!!!

  So excited that there was one in stock. Now I know why...somebody obviously returned it...the nodules made a loud clicking noise when they reached the top of the back massage... but even before that I suspected something...box not sealed, bags inside not sealed and now instructions or any paperwork for warranty. This years ‘special’ birthday is getting crapper by the day????

  Comfier neck and back massager

  I have found this massager to be an incredible piece of kit, high quality and amazingly well made.I have suffered lower back problems for a number of years and have utilised the services of varying massage therapists to provide some relief.With Covid 19 these services are now scarce so I thought to give the Comfier Massager a try and I am very glad I did.It can be set up instantly with minimum fuss and operating instructions are easy and simple to follow and in no time I was able to receive the type of back and neck massage that I had been used to receiving.The adjustment of settings is so simple that during the period of the massage different settings can be used to vary the form of treatment you get at any time.The instructions advise periods no longer than 15 minutes per session, and after 15 minutes the timer cuts in and shuts the massager down. I think this is a very good feature as later on if one wishes you can have another 15 minute session. However the instructions advise one not to use the massager more than 3 times in a day which I think is sensible advice.Irate this equipment first rate and 5 stars all the way.

  Out of the box, this chair massager can be placed on any existing seat, (sofa, single chair, office chair), plugged in and the therapy begins.It's incredible to believe that there are so many options built into this chair but there is likely to be a massage option for everyone. The automatic feature is great but having manual control over what area of your back you want to concentrate on is better. As I am below average size, the electronic adjustment of the neck massager is important and being able to swiftly alter this position when my (taller) partner wishes to use it at the touch of a button on the remote is really helpful.It appears very robust, the main back support being a solid plastic contributing to this. Comfort-wise, the chair lacks the ability to 'turn-down' the force of the massage, which might be troublesome (or perhaps even painful) to some. As suggested in the very brief manual, this can be overcome by placing something like a folded towel or pillob between the massager nodes and yourself.Whilst it doesn't cater for everything a professional therapist is capable of, (and, of course, should not replace for serious back and neck pain), and will not suit those looking for shoulder pain relief, this is a really brilliant piece of kit and I look forward to relieving my back and neck aches and pains at the throw of a switch/press of a button.

  Received quick and packed in 2 boxes no damages.After few days of using it I can say its definitely loosening up muscles which I was looking forward after long day at work.However I have severe traped nerve in my back and dont think it will help a lot with this issue. I am in progress of testing it. After first day I had bruises on my back ,but I do bruise easly after normal massage too,so it's not an indicator.Not sure if air option make any difference other than cool gadget.So fare I am happy with my new "tool". Keep in mind :you do need comfortable armchair to strap it and secure it .

  Amazing

  Thank you Amazon for delivering way sooner than expected. I have recent onset of sciatica from winged scapular in both my shoulders and on a concoction of meds, but I needed extra massage for relief of the trapped nerve and also for long term use to help with my winged scapular. I found ir better if you lie down on it as it is a firmer massage. Also you can move yourself up and down the pad for it to get your shoulders. The air compress is a winner for me as no other massager has this and I have tension and pain on my sides from my condition so this feature soothes them. I am extremely impressed having just used it once, and a relief not having to wait 3 more days for this to arrive as that was going to be the original delivery day. I am now filled with endorphins from the rush of a massage just like you get after a professional massage. Thank you to my partner for buying this for me in desperation and thank you Amazon.

  I got corona virus. My spine suffered a lot and my legs were weak on return home from the hospital. I already had this chair and I used it on "spot" where it rubs the lower spine in one place. It freed something up and my legs began their recovery. I praise Jesus that my mum and dad gifted me the money for this chair. It is like a real human massage.I can't use it directly, it's too strong and hurts me, so I lay this down on the sofa with the head end resting on the arm of the sofa. Then I put a double duvet on it, half over it, then i lay on it and fold the other half over me. it means that the massage is softer ( through the duvet ) and if I fall asleep because it's so nice.... ahhh..... then I am under the duvet and don't get cold. The "air squeeze" function is pure bliss. It sort of cradles you, while the massager deals with your pain. Honestly, it restored my legs. I did not need to return this simply because of the duvet. A piece of memory foam topper cut to shape might work too, anything to soften the massage, if, like me, you are a bit sensitive.

  Ive been bed bound for several years due to a chronic health problem. In that time Ive become extremely stiff and rigid to the point I cant lean down and pick things up and instead Ive been using a grabber.Recently Ive been more up and about but this has proven quite painful. So, with covid on the rip and not feeling confident about going somewhere for treatment at the moment I decided instead to try a massage chair. Im very glad I did.SInce I started using it a few weeks ago my back and pain/stiffness has been ironed out and Im not using the grabber so much as Im mostly able to reach down now. Im also not in pain all the time anymore from being so confined for so many years.There are a lot of options on this chair and the spot massage setting that lets you control where you are massaged has been the extremely beneficial. Its meant I can focus on the lower back which is where a lot of my pain comes from. Other options include vibration, roller or shiatsu and compression. Theres also an option to combine all of them at once which has been extremely helpful to me.Im really happy to recommend this chair. Its been very good to me so far. 6 Stars if I could.
