what is the screw length please?
I havent got a tape measure to hand but looking at them the threaded bar in the leg protrudes by approximately 25mm (1 inch) and the screws for attaching the T plates that the legs screw into are approximately 12mm or so. I'm pretty sure the product description will list all the parts and their dimensions

No, there absolutely isn't and I was caught out that way! It's also not so easy to work out the sizes as the terminology and measurements seem to change depending on region. It's also not so easy to work out the sizes as the terminology and measurements seem to change depending on region. That being said, although the screws on these were too small for my Argos sofa, they do come with a bracket that you can attach and screw into. That's worked very successfully for me and I've replaced the legs on my sofa and one of the matching chairs. Unfortunately, the last pack of these I bought came with one missing bracket so I wasn't able to do the other chair. see less

Would these be suitable for a chunky, fairly heavy sofa?
Yes! We have put them on a 3 seater & 2 seater sofa and also an armchair. I would suggest adding sliders underneath the legs if you have carpet. I can now ove my furniture with ease and the additional height gives better ease in sitting and rising.
