• Would I fit a dvd player on the shelf it is 19cm deep
  With the cables connected on the back of DVD Player the over hang would be to much and would not stay on the shelf, so no not suitable for your needs.

• Would like to know what the max weight each shelf can take as i want to use this as a bookshelf for all of my books.
  The shelves are fine for books. The max weight would depend on the type of wall and how they are fixed to the wall.

• Would these shelves fit a hamster cage on?
  Don't know, having never had hamsters. But don't think so.

• Would in work in small loo to put spare toilet rolls on
  Yeah, it is perfect width, you'd fit 3 on lengthwise.
