Has anyone put these the other way? So upside down?
Hi. No I haven't and I'm not sure it would work. The brackets which hold the shelves (the shelves sit on them and are screwed in place) would be visible. Also, they are attached to the wall using key hole notches (narrower at the top that the bottom) so if they were upside-down I'm not sure they would be as securely he… see more Hi. How is the wood?
The wood should be Paulownia and easily hold my marble sculpture, two glass candle holder and bluetooth speaker. Strong and stable.

All my furniture is rustic oak, do you think these would match?
Yes I’d say so. We are a rustic/hipster/vintage home style house and these are awesome. We’ve had some great compliments and they fit in really well.

Do you recommend using these shelves in a bathroom?
they should be fine , we have had ours in the garden and with the resent wet weather they have been solid no signs of rust .
